The Homeschool Log tracks the things states most often ask for: instructional days and hours, an attendance register, subject-by-subject records, book lists, and evaluation-ready reports. Requirements vary by state, so check yours; we make the record-keeping easy, but we're a tool, not legal advice.

What if I fall behind on logging?

That's normal. This app is built for logging after the fact. Use the week arrows to reach any past week and fill in what you did, or tag whole days as holiday, sick, or vacation so they're excluded from your day count. Nothing has to be planned in advance.

What happens when my free month ends?

Nothing is charged, ever, unless you choose to subscribe: we never ask for a card up front. Your records stay safe in your account, and subscribing ($6.99 a month or $69 a year, per family, all your children included) picks up exactly where you left off.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The app works in any phone browser and adapts to small screens. For one-tap access, open thehomeschoollog.com in your browser and choose Add to Home Screen. Photos of work samples can be snapped or uploaded right from your phone.

Is my family's data private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your records live in your own password-protected account, and we never sell, share, or advertise with your data. Only log text you choose to summarize is sent to our AI provider, which does not train on it. You can export everything or delete everything at any time in Settings.
